So much for keeping my missions a secret…
Oh yeah, Natalie (AKA Harper) here, and I just learned that DANIELLE decided to go ahead and publish what I had written about my most recent case. Did you hear me? SHE PUBLISHED IT. Like put it in a book, got someone to draw it’s cover, and then shoved it up onto Amazon so that ANYBODY could read it. 😒
Just because I wrote all of that down with chapters and everything doesn’t mean I wanted it put into a BOOK! Those details about that mission were supposed to stay top secret. Now, even FLYNN himself could read it if he wanted too! It’s a nightmare!!
And yeesh, what kind of stupid title is “The Arsonist in the Neighborhood”? Seriously, I could’ve come up with a MUCH better name, if Danielle had even bothered to ask for my opinion. This is the absolute last time I am EVER going to share my work or stories with her. Obviously, she can’t keep a secret, and as a result, something really bad could happen.
Ugh!
The cover’s nice at least…it’s crazy to believe somebody drew it and they ACTUALLY drew Flames and I RIGHT. I like the setting too. The pink color on the back of the book is rather gross, but it’s bearable I suppose. The ‘blurb’ or explanation of the book is awesome, as expected, because I wrote it of course. I should’ve just published the book myself.
At least then Danielle couldn’t take credit for it.
Just because she edited the whole thing and made it actually make sense, DOESN’T MEAN she had the right to publish it without my permission. She even took out all the rants I had included about how annoying Flynn was and how I was a much better detective, which was disappointing and very necessary. I mean without those sections, the guy sounds like a decent, caring fellow.
Well, maybe that’s too far.
Flynn ‘tries’, I think, and although he’s VERY irritating and always in the way, I honestly believe he just thought I needed his help with that mission. Hopefully, now he will realize that I’m an amazing detective by myself and what would be even better is if I never even saw him again.
Unfortunately, I feared the chances for that were too low.
Worst case scenario, I supposed I could just simply pack up and move, but I was just finally getting comfortable in my apartment, and I had even learned what the channels on my tv were. (It only took me three weeks, but in my defense, I’m pretty sure there was something messed up with the electricity, because at random times the television would switch channels without me even touching anything or the lights would flicker. Or maybe I was just living in a haunted house. Who knew, right?)

Anyways, Flames and I are about to go out on a walk, so I’m going to stop typing now and walk away…(And pray that Flynn doesn’t find this post. If he does…remember what I said about the megalodon…I don’t even exist.)
